Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) on Saturday observed the 45th death anniversary of martyred Sergeant Zahurul Haque with due solemnity.
This brave son of the soil was killed by the Pakistani army in 1969 as he was detained in the Dhaka Cantonment in connection with the Agartal Conspiracy Case, an ISPR release said. A Milad Mahfil was organized at the central mosque of Bangladesh Air Force Base Zahurul Haque after Fazr prayer. The divine blessing for the departed soul and also the peace and prosperity for the country was sought from the prayer. Air Officer Commanding of the base, Air Commodore Md Humayun Kabir, officers, airmen and other members of the base attended the Milad Mahfil.
