Inter-base Badminton Competition-2016 of Bangladesh Air Force concluded at Bangladesh Air Force Base Bashar, here on Thursday.
A total of six-team of Bangladesh Air Force took part in the competition. In the final match (Double), Air Force Base Zahurul Haque team became champion by defeating Air Force Base Bangabandhu team by straight 2-0 sets.
LEC Kamrul of BAF Base Paharkanchanpur team was adjudged the rising player and Sergient Rashed of BAF Base Zahurul Haque team was adjudged the best player respectively, said a release.
Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Maintenance) Air Vice Marshal M Mazharul Islam, BSP, psc witnessed the final match and distributed prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
Among others Air Officer Commanding, Senior BAF Officers, Airmen and other members of the base were present on the occasion.
Earlier, Air Officer Commanding of local Base Air Vice Marshal M Abul Bashar, OSP, ndc, psc inaugurated the competition on 28 February 2016.
