Chittagong Shaheen School & College and Kurmitola Shaheen School & College won their respective matches in the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) Inter-Shaheen School & College Hockey Tournament played at the Dhaka Shaheen School & College ground on Tuesday.
Kurmitola Shaheen School & College beat Shaheen English Medium School by 5-2 goals in the morning while Chittagong Shaheen School & College earned a comfortable 9-3 goals victory over Shamshernagar Shaheen School & College (Sylhet) by 9-3 goals in the afternoon.
Seven Shaheen School & College teams of Bangladesh Air Force are taking part in the five-day competition, organized by BAF Shaheen School & College, Dhaka.
The participating teams are: BAF Shaheen School & College, Dhaka, BAF Shaheen School & College, Kurmitola, BAF Shaheen School & College, Chittagong, Jessore, Pahar Kanchanpur (Tangail), Shamsher Nagar (Sylhet) and BAF Shaheen English Medium School.
The champion team will receive prize money of Tk 25,000, runners-up team Tk 15,000, best player and the highest scorer of the tournament will get Tk 5,000 each.
