Colour Award Ceremony of Bangladesh Air Force was held at BAF Base Bir Sreshto Matiur Rahman in Jashore on Tuesday.
Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mashiuzzaman Serniabat awarded BAF Colour to 11 Squadron, Flying Instructors’ School (FIS), Officers’ Training School (OTS) and BAF Care and Maintenance Unit, Lalmonirhat as the chief guest as the recognition of their contributions to the implementation of Forces Goal-2030.
On his arrival he was cordially received by Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bir Sreshto MatiurRahman, Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Nazrul Islam.
Addressing the event, Chief of Air Staff recalled the valiant contributions of the members of Bangladesh Air Force during the Liberation War.
He urged all members of Bangladesh Air Force to be more skilled and highly professional hoping that BAF will continue its operational activities both in space and beyond in future.
Earlier, he witnessed a parade at the parade ground of the base. A special munajat was offered for the preservation of Bangladesh Air Force Colour.
