BAF Chief leaves for China today

Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat leaves Dhaka for China today on a six-day official visit at the invitation of the PLA Air Force. During the visit, the Chief will call on with General Wei Fenghe, State Councillor and Minister of National Defence, China and General Ding Laihang, Commander of PLA Air Force where they will exchange views on bilateral issues of mutual interest.
Besides, the BAF Chief will visit different Military and Civil institutions including State Administration for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense (SASTIND), Aviation Institute of PLAAF Research Academy, China Astronaut Research and Training Center, AVIC Guizhou Aircraft Company Limited, Regiment 1 of Flight Test and Training Base (J-10) and Brigade 4 of Shijiazhuang Flying College (J-7) in China. This visit will play an important role for strengthening the existing relationship between PLA Air Force and Bangladesh Air Force and extending professional co-operation, said an ISPR press release.
