The certificate award ceremony of No 55 Flying Instructors’ Course and 3rd Aviation Instructors’ Post Graduation Diploma Course of Bangladesh Air Force was held on Arulia Air Field at Flying Instructors’ School (FIS) of Bogura district on Thursday. Air Officer Commanding of Bangladesh Air Force Base Birsreshto Matiur Rahman Air Vice Marshal A H M Fazlul Haque attended the ceremony as the chief guest, an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release said. He handed over certificates of no 55 Flying Instructors’ Course and 3rd Aviation Instructors’ Post Graduation Diploma Course among 07 and 10 officers respectively, it added.
During his speech, the chief guest appreciated the student officers for being part of respectable group of Flying Instructors who will train the ab-initio pilots to defend the sky of beloved motherland. Squadran Leader Mirza Mohammad Ashfaque, (BD/9612), GD (P) of no 55 Flying Instructors’ Course was adjudged the best all round student-officer and was awarded with the prestigious ‘Mofiz Trophy’.
Officer Commanding of Flying Instructors’ School (FIS) Group Captain Mohammed Mahfuz Uddin gave a brief resume on the course conducted by the school in the inaugural session.
Senior officers of Bangladesh Air Force, among others, were also present on the occasion.
