Prof Dr Md Sanowar Hossain has been appointed as the Chairman (Current Charge) of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC) on Tuesday.
The Ministry of Science and Technology has issued a circular to effective his duty from Wednesday.
Prior to joining as Chairman he was working as the Member (Bioscience) of BAEC. Dr. Hossain along with other officials of BAEC paid tributes to Bangabandhu by placing wreaths at his portrait in front of Bangabandhu memorial museum at Dhanmondi 32 just after joining as Chairman.
He also stated his firm determination to uphold and strengthening the activities of BAEC in the coming days towards the fulfillment of Sonar Bangla as dreamt by our father of the Nation.
