A court here on Tuesday indicted Badrul Alam, a suspended BCL leader of Shahjalal University of Science and
Technology (SUST) unit, in a case filed for attacking college girl Khadiza Akhter on October 3.
Sylhet Metropolitan Chief Judicial
Magistrate Saifuzzaman Hiru framed charges against Badrul after rejecting his bail petition and fixed December 5 for taking statements from witnesses.
Following the court order, the trial of the case filed for attacking college girl Khadiza Akhter began through framing charges against lone accused Badrul.
A total of 36 people were made prosecution witness in the case.
