Badal Roy applied for withdraw his nomination paper from the post of President of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) on Saturday.
Earlier, Badal Roy submitted his nomination paper for the post of President of Bangladesh Football Federation. Yesterday was the last day to withdraw the nomination paper. The time to withdraw the nomination paper was before 5.00pm. But after one hour, wife of Badal Roy arrived at the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) House with a letter of Badal Roy. In that letter, Badal Roy wrote that, ” I have decided to withdraw my nomination paper.”
As Badal Roy did not withdraw his nomination paper in due time, so, the election commission will decide about the fate of Badal Roy’s nomination paper.
However, Shafiqul Islam Manik is the opponent of Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin for the post of President of BFF.
The election will be held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the city on October 3.
