Police in Chittagong picked up one day’s baby from grave and sent to morgue for autopsy as directed by the court . The occurrence happed in CEPZ area in the city on Tuesday evening.
The body was lifted from grave at about 5 pm in presence of Executive Magistrate Tamim Al Yameen, Officer- In-Charge of EPZ thana AbulKalam Azad and Investigation Officer SI Kamrul Islam.
Following the rape case lodged before the EPZ thana against two trade union leaders of Jamuna Oil company caused life of a one day old baby , court ordered to lift the body of baby from grave for autopsy, court sources said. Police sources said the baby was buried on May 21 last and the body almost decomposed and the decomposed body sent to morgue and after receipt of autopsy report, IO report will be submitted t o court.
SIKamraul said the next date for hearing over allegations fixed on July 22 next. Court sources said the victim of the rape case filed an allegations against two trade union leaders Md Selim and Md. Yakub before the Women and child Repression tribunal of Chittagong under section 9(3) act of Women & Child Repression Act on May 31 last.
