Noted journalist and former MP N Mahfuza Khatun Baby Maudud died after battling with cancer on Friday noon. She died while undergoing treatment at the capital’s United Hospital. She was 66. Baby Maudud had been battling with cancer long time since. She left behind her two sons and thousands of admires to mourn her death. She was born in Kolkata on June 23, 1948. Her father was Justice Abdul Maudud and mother was Hedaetun Nessa.
