Fazlur Rahman Babu is a versatile and popular actor of television dramas and movies. He is a reliable actor to the directors of the country. Monpura is a milestone movie in the country’s film arena. In that movie, viewers watched Babu and Farhana Mili in roles of father and daughter respectively on the screen. Later, they acted in same role for several times in the small screen. They will be again seen in role of father and daughter in upcoming BTV’s Eid special drama titled O Baba Ali Baba, scripted by Harun Rashid and produced by Md Mahfuzar Rahman Ripon. This drama will be aired on Eid day on BTV at 9:00pm.
While talking about acting in this Eid drama, Babu said, “Basically in case Eid dramas, viewers want to get entertainment in dramas. These dramas give messages and these stories are full of joy. Mili is like my daughter. She has been acting with me during childhood. There is a good chemistry between Mili and me on the screen as daughter and father. Many directors often offered me to play in role of husband opposite Mili on the screen but I refused this because Mili always seems to me like my daughter.”
Farhana Mili said, “In fact, I honour Babu Bhai as my father. Many directors offer me to work opposite him in role of his wife. But I do not agree because he looks like my father on the screen. Both of us refused this offer. After a long time, I acted with Babu Bhai in this drama. I really enjoyed acting with him in the drama.”
In Eid, Mili also acted in Niaz Mahbub directed a special drama titled Picture Man, she also said.
