Secretary In-Charge of the Industries Ministry M Abdul Halim today asked the officials of Bangladesh Accreditation Board (BAB) to play an active role to increase the country’s export basket for developing its economy.”BAB is providing all kinds of support to development of the country’s infrastructure to improve domestic product and services, which helps establish consumer rights and regulate the quality of imported goods,” he said.
Halim was addressing a function while unveiling the BAB news letter for second-half at the Industries Ministry here, a press release said. BAB Director General (Additional Secretary) M Monwarul Islam presided over the function where senior officials of the ministry and the BAB were present.
