Muhammad Azizul Hoque, Associate Professor, Department of English Language and Literature, International Islamic University Chittagong, was awarded PhD degree by the University Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) by the approval of 117th Senate Meeting held on 12August, 2020. His PhD thesis was on “An Analysis of English Lexical Borrowings into Bangla in Bangladesh” under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Faiza Puteh-Behak (Malaysia), Dr. HazleenaBaharun (Malaysia),Professor Dr. Rafiqul Islam Molla (Bangladesh) and Professor Dr. Jahangir Bin Sarwar (Bangladesh).
He has published several research articles in different renowned journals at home and abroad. He is the fourth son of Late Moulana Habibur Rahman, and Momtaj Begum, Village/union: Padua, Post Office: Padua, Thana-Lohagara, District: Chattogram.Says a Press Release .
