Bangladeshi-American business leader and Information Technology company CEO, Aziz Ahmad, was awarded the prestigious 2022 World Green Energy Symposium NOVA Award.
He received the award at the annual WGES Summit on April 13th for his contributions to business and, specifically, for his tireless efforts to bring skill-based training to the less-fortunate in society, said a press release.
Aziz Ahmad, CEO and Founder of IT consultancy firm UTC Associates and skills training institute, CodersTrust, was one of the three recipients of the 2022 WGES NOVA Award.
WGES stated that “Aziz Ahmad has shown exemplary leadership, innovation, and commitment to solving societal inequities through sustainable and educational solutions”.
Ahmad also addressed the symposium with a presentation on the topic of ‘Maximizing Cybersecurity for a Sustainable Digital Future’. The WGES brought together top experts in sustainability including investors, innovators, government agencies. Key areas of focus for the conference were Climate Change and Sustainable Energy Practices that can minimize the impact of our carbon footprint. Addressing the conference, Mr. Ahmad said that this award meant a lot to him. He recalled the young male and female faces who came from under-privileged, underserved, marginalized communities who had the opportunity to learn career-building skills from CodersTrust and now are making a living in the global employment market.
