The government has appointed Senior Secretary of Prime Minister’s Office [PMO] Md Abul Kalam Azad as Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
According to a Public Administration Ministry gazette notification issued on Monday, Abul Kalam Azad will replace
Abdus Sobhan Sikder who went on post- retirement leave [PRL] on February 15.
In another notification, Statistics and Informatics Division Secretary Suraiya Begum has been made Secretary to the PMO.
On the other hand, Begum Kaniz Fatema, Director General of Bangladesh Employee’s Welfare Board has been made acting secretary of the Statistics and Informatics Division.
