An awareness workshop on ‘Digital Resources’ organized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) will be held in the city on Monday.
UGC Chairman Prof Abdul Mannan will attend the programme as the chief guest while UGC Member Dr Mohammad Yousuf Ali Mollah and Senior Operations Officer, World Bank Dr M Mokhlesur Rahman will be present as special guests on the occasion.
UGC Member Prof Dr M Akhtar Hossain will preside over the function to be held at Lakeshore Hotel.
Vice-Chancellors and Librarians of member universities of UGC Digital Library (UDL) will participate in the workshop. Forty three member universities of UDL have been accessing 17500+ high scholarly electronic resources of seven e-publishers.
