Awareness build-up prog on dengue continues in dists

Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) including Kishoreganj Civil Surgeon officer arranged an advocacy workshop on Dengue virus, mosquito control: Current Issues , challenges held at Kishoreganj 250-Bed General Hospital Conference Hall on Monday.
Md. Sarowar Morshed Chowdhury , DC attended as Chief Guest while BMA District President Dr. Mahabub Iqbal in the chair.
It was addressed among others by Former Health Director Dr. Deen Mohammad, Additional SP (Promoted SP) Nazmul Islam, Syed Nazurl Islam Medical College Hospital Dr. Saidur Rahman, its Vice-Principal Professor Dr. Sajor Kumar Dus, Civil Surgeon Dr. Habibur Rahman, Deputy Director of 250-Bed General Hospital Dr. Sultana Razia, Child Specialist Associate Professor Dr. Mohasin, BMA District Secretary Dr. Abdul Wahab Badal and Medicine Consultant Dr. Ataur Rahman. Later, DC Md. Sarowar Morshed Chowdhury visiting the dengue patients in dengue word in this Hospital.
Kishoreganj District Administration organised an exchange views meeting with local elites at Collectorate Conference Room on Sunday afternoon.
DC Sarowar Morshed Chowdhury presided over the meeting.
Police Super Mashrukur Rahman Khaled BPM (Bar), Syed Nazurl Islam Medical College Hospital Dr. Saidur Rahman and Civil Surgeon Dr. Habibur Rahman were attended as special guest.

Parvez Miah, Professor M.A Goni, Gonotantree Party President Adv. Bhupendra Bhowmik Dulon, Ex Freedom Fighter Commander Md. Asad Ullah, District Press Club President Mostafa Kamal, Women Leader Bilkis Begum and CAB Secretary Monour Hossain Rony.
Jashore Correspondent adds: Jashore district unit of Bangladesh Nationalist Party distributed leaflets among people of Jashore to make people conscious about dengue fever on Sunday. Prof Nargis Begum, Convener, Jashore district unit BNP led the campaign.
A total of 148 dengue patients were admitted at Jashore hospitals in last 17 day, according to the office of civil surgeon.
