National Junior Champion Avik Sarker and National Sub-Junior Champion FM Mohammad Fahad Rahman are participating from Bangladesh in the Asian Junior Chess Tournament-2016 that began in New Delhi, India on Wednesday.
A total of 59 players from 10 Asian countries, including 3 Grandmasters and 4 International Masters, are participating in the event.
After 2nd round games Avik earned half point but Fahad did not get any point.
Avik drew with T M Abhishek of India and Fahad lost to M Arijith of India in 2nd round.
Avik lost to Indian GM Aravindh Chithambaram and Fahad lost to Naotunna Dineth Nimnaka of Sri Lanka in the 1st round.
