The National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) has added the autobiography of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to the syllabus of HSC Bangla 1st Paper.The NCTB has issued a notice signed by Secretary Broj Gopal Bhowmick in this regard on August 13.According to the notice, a portion of the autobiography of Bangabandhu titled Bayannyer Dinguli (The Days of ’52) has been added in the prose section of the HSC syllabus for the session 2014-15.The portion has been taken from Ashomapto Atmojiboni (unfinished memoirs) written by Bangabandhu. Bangabandhu wrote the autobiography during his stay at Dhaka Central Jail in 1967.The revised syllabus of Bangla 1st Paper contains a total of 12 prose and 12 poems.The syllabus for HSC examinees of 2016 will remain unchanged till further notification.
