The World Autism Awareness Day was observed on Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus on Sunday in a betting manner.
JU Anandashala, a specialized school for autistic children, organized different events marking the day.
JU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr. Farzana Islam inaugurated the main programme of the day.
The Vice-Chancellor went round different streets on the campus along with autistic children by a bus.
JU Pro-VC Professor Dr Abul Hossain, Treasurer Abul Khair, Anandashala Director (honorary) Professor Dr Hanif Ali and students of the school along with their guardians joined the events, among others.
