Australian High Commissioner in Dhaka on Tuesday said his government has taken the decision to revise the existing policy and lift the embargo on operating cargo flights to the country.
While meeting with Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh Chairman Air Vice Marshal Mafidur Rahman, Australian High Commissioner Jeremy Bruer said this.
In 2016, Australian government imposed ban on operating direct cargo flight between the two countries — citing lack of security at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA).
