Australia Cricket team arrived at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Thursday to take part in the five-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series against Bangladesh Cricket team. After their arrival, Australia Cricket team straightly went to InterContinental Dhaka. They will take a three-day quarantine there before taking part in the practice session. The five T20I matches will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur. The five T20I matches will take place on August 3,4,6,7, 9. All the matches will start at 6.00pm.
Meanwhile, Members of Bangladesh Cricket (T20I) team also arrived at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka from Zimbabwe on the same day. Bangladesh defeated Zimbabwe in the lone away Test match at Harare Sports Club Ground recently. Bangladesh whitewashed Zimbabwe in the three-match ODI series 3-0 at the same ground and beat Zimbabwe in the three-match T20I series 2-1at the same venue.
