A teacher of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) went missing from the city’s Tejgaon area on Thursday.
The victim has been identified as ABM Shahidulla, Assistant Professor of Textile Engineering Department of the varsity, police said.

Police Station and Investigation Officer (IO) of the case, told The New Nation on Saturday, “Shahidulla is yet to come back home after taking class at the university on Thursday.”
The victim’s brother filed a general diary (GD) with the police station on Saturday though the victim’s family filed a complain with the Tejgaon Police Station early Friday.
He has been a follower of Tabligh Jamaat since long, the IO said. He lives with the family in Pallabi of Mirpur in the capital, he said.
“We are trying to trace him on a highest priority”, the SI also said.
