Famous actress, model and dancer, Aupee Karim is all set to host a show again after a long time. Titled Surjodoyer Gaan, the program she will be hosting will feature five special songs, paying tribute to the martyrs of the Liberation War.
The program has been made under the banner of Fagun Audio Vision, a production house owned by celebrated host and maker Hanif Sanket.
Surjodoyer Gaan will be broadcast on the occasion of Independence Day.
The songs which are to be aired are sung, written and composed by eminent artists including renowned lyricist Gazi Majharul Anwar, tuner Ali Akbar Rupu, Andrew Kishore and Kumar Bishwajit. Contemporary singers Protik Hasan and Nirjhar also gave voice to a song, which was written by Mohammad Rafikuzzaman and tuned by Hanif Sanket.
With retired Major Anis-ul-Islam’s lyrics and Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul’s tune, Kumar Bishwajit sang another song for the program, the number especially paying tribute to the great biranganas (war heroines) of the nation.
Fahmida Nabi also contributed to the program by singing a song with Lutfor Hasan’s lyrics and tune. Written and tuned by Md Jamaluddin, Rafikul Alam sang the other number for the program.
