Though the National Film Award winner actor Chanchal Chowdhury and popular face of the small screen Aupee Karim are acting in TV plays and serial for long time but they did not get the opportunity to work together in any drama. For the first time, they shared the screen under Sagor Jahan-directed Eid drama titled Khoniker Alo. Pantho Shahriar wrote story of the play which shooting was in different locations of Dhaka on July 23 and 24.
While talking about acting in the play Chanchal said, “Pantho Shahriar-written any work is totally exceptional story. Earlier I got offer to work with Aupee for several times. Due to mismatch of our schedules we couldn’t work together. For the first time, we shared the screen under Sagor Jahan’s direction. It is no doubt Aupee is a talented actress. To get the scope to work with such an actress is really satisfy me. As a director, Sagor Jahan worked in organised way. I am very much satisfied about this play.”
Aupee shared her feelings by this way, “It is really something to work under Sagor Jahan’s direction. Under his unit I worked in several numbers of good projects. So, when I work with his unit and under his direction I always believe that it will be a good work. Noted actor Chanchal also worked with me in this play. Everybody knows about his acting. So, I believe viewers will enjoy the drama in Eid.”
Director Sagor Jahan informed that the play will be aired on RTV in Eid-ul-Azha. Meanwhile, Sagor Jahan has already made another Eid drama titled Maya Sobar Moto Na casting Mehazabien and Tahsan.
