A maternal aunt and her college going niece were gang- raped by four alleged young miscreants in the guise of police in village Pashurbunia within Kahwlia UP under Morrelganj Upazila in Bagerhat on Monday midnight.
Locals said , Zakir Hawladar (35), son of Jalal Hawladar of village Pashurbunia, Mohiuddin Hawladar (30), son of Mokles Hawladar of village K. C. Chalitabunia village, Saddam Hawladar (28), son of Jalil Hawladar and Mizanur Rahman, son of Shah Jahan Hawladar of the same village under Kawlia Union raided the house of a woman who is a mother of a child of village Amarbunia village within Jewdhara Union under the same Upazila on Monday midnight in the guise of police and took her and her college going girl from there to a abandoned house in the village K. C. Chaitabunia Village and confined them there. Then they took them to a nearby garden where they committed gang- rape on them (aunt and nice) repeatedly.
At one stage , the nice who was completely naked fled away from there and took shelter in a nearby house.
In this connection the maternal aunt filed a case with Morrelganj PS against four rapists mentioning the names and unidentified another but no accused was arrested by the police in connection with the incident till the writing of this report.
