BNP candidate for Munshiganj-1 Shah Moazzem Hossain’s motor convoy came under attack at Kuchiamora area in Sirajdikhan Upazila by some unidentified miscreants around 5:00 PM on Saturday.
The miscreants fired seven rounds of bullets, broke the windshield of the same cars, but Shah Moazzem remained unhurt.
Omar Farukh, brother of the BNP leader said, windshield of five cars were vandalized and six persons became bullet wounds.
Sirajdikhan Circle ASP Md Asaduzzaman told journalists that he heard the news but not confirmed.
