The students of Chittagong Nursing College observed token strike, work stoppage and protest procession protesting the attack on nurses of Sylhet Medical college by the internee doctors. The programme of demonstration was arranged under the banner of Chittagong Nursing College Students Welfare Association.
College sources said the students of Nursing college staged token strike from 9 am to 2 pm infront of the college and later brought out protest procession within the campus which later paraded the pabartak crossing.
Among others Students welfare association President Syed Tanveer Ahmed, vice president Vijoyni and the General Secretary Pinki Chowdhury spoke on the occasion.
A reliable sources said due to token strike of the nurses, the service of the patients in the hospital hampered to some extents, sources said.
