Attack on FF’s son rises at CU

The sons of freedom fighters, studying in the Chittagong University are repeatedly being attacked, creating tensions among the sons of the heroic war hero.
The war hero’s sons were attacked during the Shibir supremacy period before 2010 and began to feel secured after eviction of Jamaat Shibir from the varsity in 2013, but in the recent couple of months they are being attacked by the activists of Chhhatra League, who were once considered the safe shelter for the war hero’s sons.
Four war hero’s sons were attacked in the last three months and the attack was committed by the activists of ruling party Awami League’s student wing Bangladesh Chhatra League of Chittagong University unit.
Some miscreants in the name of Chhatra League, conducted the attack with sharp weapons and injured the nation builders’ sons. On April 28, around 9.00 pm freedom fighter’s son- Payer Ahmed of English department and a staff reporter of a local daily were chopped by a group of Chhaatra League activists, receiving a major injury in his head. Payer then registered a case against 20-22 activists of Chhatra League unnamed and naming one but police couldn’t able to round up a single one.
Meanwhile, on April 26 Chhatra League activist Sariful Islam another freedom fighter’s son were hacked by a fellow worker named Daniel at Amanat Hall-both are known as the fellow activists of CU unit General Secretary HM Fazle Rabbi Sujon group. During the attack, a neck vein was cut and Shariful was now undergone treatment at Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
