ATN Bangla, the first satellite channel in Bangladesh, has turned into 18 on July 15. Beginning its journey in 1997, the channel has crossed much ground in its mission to entertain the viewers and keep them side by side with the current affairs.
The channel has also extended its footprints by reaching Bangladeshi expatriates all over the world.
To mark its anniversary, the channel arranged a large array of programmes like musical programme, Golpo Gaan-er Amontroney, special episode of cookery-show Vim Jhotpot Iftar, a special single-episode play Chirkut were aired.
Therefore, ministers, MPs, politicians, media personalities, players, artists, performers, among others, were present ATN Bangla office yesterday to celebrate its anniversary. This programme was aired live on ATN Bangla.
