Ten years ago, Ekushey Award winner noted actor ATM Shamsuzzaman and popular actress Rosy Selim worked together in an awareness creating TV commercial.
After a break of 10 years, they again worked together in Sajjad Sumon’s drama serial titled Chholey Boley Kowsholey. ATM Shamsuzzaman acted in role of a house-owner, while Rosy played the role of his maid-servant in the serial.
In the story, it will be shown that ATM Shamsuzzaman often dependents on Rosy. Shooting of second phase of the serial has already been started in the city’s Uttara area recently.
While talking about to act with Rosy in this serial actor ATM Shamsuzzaman told this correspondent, “Earlier I worked with Rosy in a work but I think she is an intelligent actress. She can easily play with her role while acting. I could invent it again while working with her. We should work with actors like Rosy. I give thanks to Sajjad Sumon to cast me and Rosy in his serial. I have really enjoyed to work under Sumon’s direction.”
Rosy selim shared her feelings by this way, “I always believe that it is a great luck for me to act with such a legendary actors like ATM Shamsuzzaman. He has enough age but he has no unwillingness to work. He always tries to remain happy. I felt happy to work with him after many years. Every time I thought I acted with ATM Bhai, gossiping with him and also to develop myself in acting. This serial will be aired in any satellite channel soon.”
Meanwhile, ATM Shamsuzzaman is now acting in Mir Sabbir directed mega serial Noashal. His acted last released movie was SA Haque Alik’s Ek Prithibi Prem. On the other hand, Rosy recently acted in two plays of Dhaka Theatre.
It is noted that 10 years ago, ATM Shamsuzzaman and Rosy Selim performed together in a TV commercial of Enechhi Surjer Hashi under Gias Uddin Selim’s direction.
