In 2009, Ekushey Award winner and National Film Award actor ATM Shamsuzzaman directed ‘Ebadat’ was released. It was his directed first movie. Riaz, Dolly Zahur, Prabir Mitra, Anis, Shabnur, among others, acted in different roles in this movie. Later, ATM Shamsuzzaman was only engaged with acting for several years.
At the end of this year, he is going to make a new movie which is also scripted by him. Title of the movie is Ekhon Bola Jai.
While talking about making the movie ATM Shamsuzzaman told this correspondent, “For the many days I am thinking about my new directed movie. Its story, script and dialogue were written by me. Story of the movie is a tale of our real life story. It is my dream project. I want to proceed with my dream work now. Next year shooting of the movie will kick off but who will act in this movie yet not confirmed.”
Now ATM Shamsuzzaman is acting in Mir Sabbir’s serial Noashal and Hasan Jahangir’s serial Chapabaj. Till now he got the National Film Awards for five times.
