Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor candidate Md Atiqul Islam pledged that if elected he will work as people’s servant to meet the expectations of the city residents for making Dhaka a smart city.
Seeking people’s support in building a smart and dynamic Dhaka city, he said, “If reelected, I would build a clean and modern green city with my utmost efforts as the servant of the people. I will work more than ever.”
He said this on Thursday while talking to the journalist during conducting his election campaign on the Rupnagar-Alubdi Eidgah premises in the city.
About BNP nominated mayor candidate Tabith Awal’s complaint, he said: “Please don’t make any false complaint. No leader of our side has torn up your (BNP) posters and will never do so.”
