A nine-member of Bangladesh athletics team including five athletes left for Qatar on Friday evening to take part in the 23rd Asian Athletic Championship which will be held on April 21-24 at Doha.
During the championship, Bangladesh Athletics Federation (BAF) president SM Ali Kabir will receive award for his outstanding contribution as well as for the development of country’s athletics. The award will be given at Vindam Grand Regency Hotel on Sunday (April 21).
Bangladesh athletics team- M Ismal, 100m sprinter (Bangladesh Navy), M Hasan Mia, 100m sprinter (BKSP), Zoheer Raihan, 400m (Bangladesh Navy), Shirin Akter, 100m (Bangladesh Navy) and Sohagi Akter , 100m (Bangladesh Navy).
