Reliance to sign deals to set up 718 MW power plant today

After four years into the initial deal, the government is going to sign agreements with Reliance Group on Sunday to allow the Indian conglomerate to set up a 718 MW gas-based combined cycle power plant in Meghtnaghat.According to official sources, a total of four contracts will be inked with Reliance Bangladesh LNG and Power Limited, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) company of the Reliance Group.
