At least three people died from alcohol poisoning and a dozen others are admitted in hospital, after an event on Friday at a Gazipur resort.
Two of them died on Sunday and another died earlier on Monday while undergoing treatment in a city hospital.
All of them were working in media related organisations. Sources said, around 41 employees of the organisations went to the resort in Gazipur on Friday. Some of them drank alcoholic beverage at the resort. On the way back to Dhaka some of them became sick, a team member, wishing anonymity, who also received treatment told the media.
