A human chain was formed in Barisal on Monday morning demanding assurances of safety and security of the SSC examinees.
The programme was organised in front of Ashwini Kumar Hall by Bangladesh Chhatra Union, Barisal district unit demanding cancellation of political programmes during public examinations like SSC exam.
Dipangkar Kundu, vice president BCU district unit, presided over the programme addressed among others by A B Siddik, Haidar Sharif, Pritom Chowdhury, Ovi Biswas, BCU leaders and Advocate AK Azad, district president of CPB.
The speakers called the ruling and rival political alliances to ensure safety and security of the Secondary School Certificate examinees.
They demanded cancellation political programmes like blockade and strike and creating non-violent situation in the country.
