Asif Iqbal of Bangladesh Pratidin and Sakir Ruben of Maasranga Television were elected President and General Secretary respectively of Bangladesh Sports Journalists Community (BSJC) on Friday. The Annual General Meeting and the election were held at the conference room of Bangladesh Handball Federation on the same day.
The newly elected officials of BSJC are: Mohammad Main Uddin Tareq (Sports Fair) (Senior Vice-President), Masud Parvez (Kaler Kantha)(Vice-President), Monir Hossain Khan (Bangla Vision) (Joint General Secretary), Abdul Mukit Rubel (Kriralok), Kamal Hossain Bablu (Kriralok) (Robbar), Rafiqul Islam (Banik Barta) (Members).
Besides, Jasim Uddin Rana of Naya Diganta was unopposed elected Organizing Secretary and Md Anwar Hossain of Dhaka Pratidin was unopposed elected Office Secretary and Publication Secretary.
