The Open Group Asian Nations Cup Chess 2016 began in Abu Dhabi of the United Arab Emirate (UAE) on Monday.
Twenty-two teams from 20 Asian countries, including China, India, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan and Iran, are participating in the open section of the men’s competition.
Ten teams from nine countries are taking part in the women’s group.
