Asian Games Qualifying Hockey begins today

The Islami Bank Asian Games Qualifying Hockey Tournament begins today ( Saturday) at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
Oman will face Chinese Taipei in the first match at 2.00 pm while Sri Lanka will meet Qatar in the second match at 4.00 pm.
Minister for Finance Abul Maal Abdul Muhith will inaugurate the hockey competition as the chief guest.
A total of eight teams splitting into two groups are taking part in the hockey meet. Oman, Sri Lanka, Chinese Taipei, Qatar are in Pool A while Bangladesh, Singapore, Hong Kong China, Iran are in Pool B.
Top six teams will get tickets of the Asian Games Hockey Tournament.
The nine-day long Asian Games Qualifying Hockey Tournament will come to an end on March 23.
