Former President of FBCCI Yussuf Abdullah Harun, MP and President of the Chattogram Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and former Vice-President of FBCCI, Mahbubul Alam, re-elected as the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asia Insurance Limited at its 143rd board of directors meeting held on Sunday through digital platform, said a press release.
Yussuf Abdullah Harun, MP, had a brilliant academic career. He obtained B.com. (Hons.) Degree from University of Dhaka in the year 1967 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Besides, Mahbubul Alam, started his business after completion of his education and established himself as a leading entrepreneur. His business affiliation includes life and non-life Insurance, steel industry, trading of various commodities. Mahbubul Alam is the Chairman of Diamond Life Insurance Company Limited. He is the founding General Secretary of the Chittagong University Alumni association and he has been elected president of the Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the fourth consecutive term.
