The Asia Cup 2022 will start today in a befitting manner with six teams namely India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Hong Kong will play in the Asia Cup, the most prestigious cricket competition of the Asia Continent. Hosts Sri Lanka will face Afghanistan in the opening match at Dubai, the United Arab Emirates today. The match will start at 8.00pm (Bangladesh Standard Time). Favourites India will meet Pakistan tomorrow at the same venue. The game will begin at 8.00pm.
The battle of sixes with India, Pakistan, and Hong Kong are in Group A, while Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh are in Group B. The top two teams from each group will proceed further to play the ‘Super Four’. The ‘Super Four’ will be held in single league basis. The top two teams will then meet in the final.
