Asia Akhter , a student of Persian Language Department of Dhaka University (DU) emerged as the champion of the Annual Sports Competition of Bangladesh-Kuwait Moitree Hall of DU on Friday. The Competition was held at the Central Playground of DU. Amina Akhter, a student of Bangla Department became runner-up in the sports meet.
After the sports competition, Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique distributed the prizes among the winners. Provost of Bangladesh-Kuwait Moitree Hall Professor Dr Mubina Khondker, Provosts of different halls of Dhaka University, senior teachers of DU and officials of DU were present at the time.
Earlier, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr Shahid Akhtar Hossain inaugurated the sports competition in the morning.
