ASI among four more killed in road crashes

At least four more persons were killed and several others injured in separate road crashes across the country on Sunday.
In Kushtia, a motorcyclist named Sujon (32) and his son Yasin (6) were killed in a road accident when a truck struck them at Mohishagari.
The accident took place on the Kushtia-Jhenaidah Highway.
Chowdhus Highway Camp Sub-Inspector (SI) Joynul Islam confirmed the news to media that after ramming by the motorbike, Sujan died on the spot and his critically injured son Yasin was sent to hospital where the duty doctor declared him dead.
In Gazipur, at least two persons were killed in separate road crashes in Gazipur district on Sunday.
 The diseased were identified as Anwar Hossain, 25, an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP), who succumbed to his injuries at Pangu Hospital in Dhaka on Sunday morning after a bus pushed him in Tongi on Saturday.
A teenage boy named Saiful Islam, was killed in a road accident when a ‘Showkhin Paribahan’ bus hit Saiful in MC Bazar area of Sreepur upazila in Gazipur district in the afternoon.
Ruhul Amin, Senior Assistant Commissioner (Media) of Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP) said that the accident took place when a bus hit Anwar on his way to Tongi Station on Saturday, leaving him critically injured.
