The three-member tribunal formed by BCB also fined Mohammad Ashraful Tk ten lakh recently. The tribunal informed that Mohammad Ashraful can appeal to withdraw his punishment within three weeks.
Mohammad Ashraful said to the journalists on Wednesday, “I shall appeal to the tribunal within a week. “
Mohammad Ashraful came to Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Wednesday to collect a practice schedule from coach Chandika Haturusinghe.
Haturusinghe has suggested Mohammad Ashraful to submit a written petition to BCB.
Haturusinghe said to Ashraful, “You have understood your wrong. You have admitted the truth. You have done the correct thing. I hope you will return in cricket soon.”
