A meeting of Dhaka-based Tangail District Journalists Forum was held in the Jatiya Press Club on Wednesday. In the meeting a 21-member executive committee was formed with Ashraf Ali, Special Correspondent of Naya Diganta and Jamal Uddin Jamal, Assistant Editor of Ajker Sangbad as President and General Secretary respectively.
The other executive members of the forum are: Vice-Presidents-Enamul Haque (Daily Star), Harun-or-Rashid Talukder (Samoy TV), Joint General Secretaries-Firoj Manna (Janakantha) ,Rejaul Karim (Financial Express), Organising Secretary-Khondkar Asab Mahmud (BTV), Treasurer-Abdul Latif Rana, Women Affairs Secretary-Shahnaz Parveen Alis (Independent TV), Publicity Secretary-Rumi Akhter Poly (UNB) and Office Secretary-Tareque Salman (Inqilab), among others.
