Ashashuni Upazila team reached the final of the Walton DC Cup Football Tournament Satkhira when they beat Shamnagar Upazila team by 4-2 goals in the tie-breaker of the second semifinal at the Satkhira District Stadium on Tuesday.
The stipulated time ended in a goalless draw.
Ashashuni Upazila’s foreign recruit Kingsley was adjudged the Man of the Match.
After the semifinal match SM Jaglul Haidar, MP gave the Man of the Match award as the chief guest.
DC of Satkhira Nazmul Ahsan, DIG of Khulna Range SM Moniruzzaman, Police Super of Satkhira Chowdhury Monjurul Kabir were present at the time.
Ashashuni Upazila team will face Kaliganj Upazila team in the final at the same venue on November 30.
