The film Porobashini is being made for last three years. Though there is no update new about the releasing date of the movie but a play titled Porobashini will go on air on Bangladesh Television in Eid-ul-Azha. It was confirmed by director of play Porobashini Debashish Barua Dip yesterday.
In play Porobashini, for the first time former professor of Cadet College Abul Hossain acted against Veet star Azmeri Asha. In the play, he acted in role of Asha’s maternal uncle-in-law. Shooting of the play was wrapped up on Saturday.
While talking about the play Abul Hossain told this correspondent, “Though I was engaged with teaching profession in Cadet College basically acting was attached with my blood. For this reason, besides giving direction I also acted in plays in Cadet College. Now I am a retired professor and I want to continue acting. I give thanks to Anika Sarwar, producer of the play, to give me opportunity to act in this play.”
Asha shared her feelings by this way, “I have really enjoyed to act with Abul Hossain sir. He is a talented actor. I have learnt many things from him. I believe viewers will enjoy our acting in the play.”
It may be mentioned that Sayeed Babu and Saidul Raj have also acted in two important roles in the play.
Meanwhile, after retirement as Vice Principal from Pabna Cadet College Abul Hossain has been acting in TV plays and telefilms and also performing as a model in TV commercials. Now his performed a TVC of ACI Salt is being aired in different satellite channels now. It was directed by Tito Rahman.
Therefore, Abul Hossain’s acting was highly appreciated in Mahmud Hossain Murad’s directed movie Moner Modhdhye Lekha.
On the other hand, in last Eid Asha’s acted a serial titled 007 was appreciated to the viewers.
However, her acting also came into limelight in another Eid telefilm Para Capsule. Recently Asha has returned from Bangkok after enjoying Eid vacation there.
