Sports and Games Club of ASA University Bangladesh (ASAUB) organized four-day long ‘Inter Department Football Tournament-2015′ at Shyamoli Club Playground. Sixteen teams from different departments participated in the tournament. The tournament was sponsored by Soft drinks `MOJO’. The prize giving ceremony was held on 24 December 2015.
Prof Dr Dalem Ch Barman, Vice Chancellor of ASA University Bangladesh (ASAUB) was present as The Chief Guest of the program and handed over the prize among the winners. Prof Dr AKM Helal uz Zaman, Treasurer of ASAUB was present as the Special Guest while Jamal Uddin Ahmed, Manager (Event and Activation), Akij Food and Beverage Ltd. was present as the Guest of Honor in this event.
Md. Khalequzzaman, Registrar of ASAUB delivered the Welcome Speech in the final day of the tournament.
Md. Ashraful Haq Chowdhury, Additional Registrar and Proctor of ASAUB coordinated the football tournament. Kartik Chandra Mondal, Assistant Professor and Coordinator, Sports and Games Club of ASAUB extended his cooperation to make the event successful.
Deans and Chairmen from different faculties and departments, teachers, students and officials of ASAUB were present in the prize giving ceremony.
To bring out the hidden talents of the students, ASAUB organizes different types of games and sports competition over the year.
